The “Langford Years” t-shirt is in recognition and celebration of his 36 years at the University of Florida and his leadership as director of the award winning UF Jazz Band. Designed and produced by his son Benji, the shirt first made its appearance at the UF Jazz Band Reunion Concert in March 2006. Although initially made for the jazz band reunion, it is available to the thousands of students who have had Professor Langford as a teacher in Jazz History, the Gator Marching Band, Concert Band and the Alachua County Youth Orchesta.
The shirt is professionally hand screen printed on a 100% cotton high quality Hanes tagless T. A retrospecive series of Professor Langford's Jazz Band concerts and studio recordings is in the works and will be available on this site soon.
